A Conversation with Sharon Nelles and Lenny Traps

In this episode of S&C Sidebar, Sharon Nelles, Managing Partner of S&C’s Litigation Group, is joined by Lenny Traps, a partner in S&C’s Litigation Group. They discuss how Lenny’s work on financial crisis litigation at the start of his career shaped his training as a generalist lawyer, and how Lenny fosters a strong and productive relationship with clients as a newer partner.

“Clients expect you to be able to see beyond the narrow legal issue that’s right in front of them,” says Lenny. “These legal problems don’t come gift-wrapped in one tidy area, factually or legally.  And I think it’s an invaluable perspective to be able to see what other kinds of issues, problems, postures, one legal issue can create.”
